The great and wonderful Carmen Argenziano (Yes, it's a fact that he's great and wonderful. This is the news section. We only report facts.) has once again made his status as a Sam/Daniel shipper known. From the Orlando Vulkon, held March 19-21, as reported by Annie at OurStargate: When Carmen was asked a question about Sam and Jack, he stated that he actually thought that Sam and Daniel should get together and had always hoped that would happen. He said that Sam and Daniel were his two favorite characters on the show. (See we told you he was wonderful.)

Carmen also revealed that when Jacob first started calling Daniel 'Danny' it was all on accident and he didn't know why he'd done it, but Richard Dean Anderson teased Michael Shanks about it.

Issue 111 of Cult Times, features an interview with Amanda Tapping, which states,

[quote]In a fantastic double act, Shanks and Tapping get in touch with their inner geek, with hilarious results. "Michael and I have so much fun playing with this. We've laughed our way through it. This is not highbrow, this is pure schmaltzy humour and that is so very wonderful." The scene they are working on before our eyes, has Carter and Jackson discussing their rather dramatic change in style and demure, while sitting at a table in the SGC canteen.[end quote]

What exactly she meant by 'schmaltzy humour' may remain a mystery until the episode airs, but with schmaltzy being synonymous with gushy, maudlin, romantic, and sentimental, could this mean that we'll get to see a romance between an alternate Sam and Daniel?

The episode referred to is most likely Moebius, the two part season finale, which will involve time travel/alternate time lines. Spoilers have leaked that there will be 'a kiss' in this episode, but no further details are known. It's been widely assumed that the kiss will be yet another between Sam and Jack, but could it be possible that we'll be pleasantly surprised?
